Yara Rock Stone Wool Products Our Yara rock stone wool products are meticulously crafted from natural rocks like basalt and dolomite. These natural rocks are melted at an intense temperature of about 1500°C in a cupola. Once melted, the lava is poured into high-speed spinners, transforming it into fibers. These fibers are then meticulously collected to form the original wool mat, which undergoes pendulum, crimping, and pressing processes. The mats are then cured in an oven, shaping them into various products such as rock stone wool boards, blankets, pipe sections, hydroponic cubes, and strips, each tailored for specific uses.
Our products can be paired with a variety of materials including aluminum foils (FSK, Aluglass, etc.), black fiberglass nonwoven/tissue, black fiberglass fabric, and steel wire mesh.
Additionally, stainless steel wire mesh and fiberglass mesh can also be used in conjunction with our rock stone wool products for enhanced performance.

FAQ
Q: Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?
A: We are a professional manufacturer established in 2001, holding FM, CE, and ISO certifications. Our registered brand, Operfect, warmly invites you to visit our factory at your convenience.
Q: Can you provide the sample for free? A: For small sizes, samples are free for clients, with only a minimal courier fee. For customized samples, a sample fee will be charged.Q: What's the delivery time?
A: Delivery typically takes 7-15 days after receipt of advanced payment.
Q: What's the payment term?
A: We accept T/T and LC.
Q: What's the MOQ?
A: For standard specifications, the MOQ is just a 20GP container.
Q: What are the characteristics of Rock wool and Glass wool?
A: (1) Rock wool can endure scorching temperatures up to 1000° C (1800° F), whereas fiberglass succumbs at around 600° C (1100° F). (2) Rock wool offers a versatile density range from 40kg/m3 to 200 kg/m3, with specialized types reaching up to 560 kg/m3. In contrast, glass wool ranges from 8kg/m3 to 100 kg/m3, with special types extending up to 300 kg/m3. (3) When it comes to size, rock wool blankets are available in dimensions like 0.6m*5m and 1.2m*5m, while boards come in sizes like 1.2m*0.6m and 1.2m*2.4m. Glass wool blankets are typically sized at 1.2m*30m and 1.2m*15m, with boards available in 1.2m*0.6m and 1.2m*2.3m. (4) Applications: Rock wool is extensively applied across civil, commercial, industrial, and agricultural sectors. Glass wool, on the other hand, is predominantly utilized in civil and commercial buildings, with some usage in industrial areas where lower temperature conditions prevail.
Q: Glass wool vs Rock mineral wool for soundproofing?
A: When it comes to soundproofing and acoustics, glass wool stands out due to its extended fiber length, making it superior. It is widely employed in fiberglass ceilings, wall panels, and suspended baffles, providing excellent acoustic performance, particularly at lower frequencies. However, rock wool also has its merits, especially when higher fireproof performance is a priority, making it suitable for rock wool ceilings and wall panels.
